Crates & Pallet New Shelf Bracket Projects for Every Room

ATLANTA, GA– January 23, 2018Crates & Pallet has teamed up with crafty DIY bloggers to show off its trendy steel shelf brackets in every room.  Available in standard sizes of 6”, 8”, 10”, and 12”, these heavy-duty steel shelf brackets have the look of a hand-forged bracket with textured metal and softened corners, and are made to fit standard dimensional lumber for use as shelves.

Bedrooms and Playrooms

Shanty2Chic’s Whitney Gainer and Ashley Turner used four 8” brackets to create these cool DIY Chunky Industrial Shelves for a bedroom.  According to them, one of the greatest things about these shelf brackets is that they are designed for dimensional lumber, which means you buy the brackets and buy a piece of wood and you are set to go!  To see their project video and step by step directions, please visit

Jessica Nickerson of House Home Made used three 12” shelf brackets in her kids’ playroom to make a desk.  She wanted this space to feel fancy and productive for her girls and also to protect the wall.  The desk is just under the window and has a plank look for the wall as well as the base of the desk.  She says the brackets are perfect for this kind of project because they are heavy duty and she loves how they don’t have an angled support bar.  She also loves the pretty finish. Laundry Rooms

BrePurposed’s Breanna Bertolini used three 8” shelf brackets to create a laundry room makeover.  She knew she wanted some open shelving above her washer and dryer.  When she heard about the new steel brackets, she knew she’d found what she was looking for.  She spray-painted the black finish a muted gold to finish off the look that she was going for in her laundry room.  According to Breanna, you can apply this to any room in your house, and it’s such a great way to get creative and put things on display that you love.  To see her project with video and instructions, please visit

Sara Davis of Sincerely Sara D’s also used the steel brackets in her laundry room. She used six 12” shelf brackets and spray painted them gold.  She had originally used a large peg board in her laundry room, but it wasn’t accomplishing her organizational needs.  She says the brackets are strong and gorgeous, and the project was so easy she did it all by herself.  To see her project, please visit

Mindi Carwin of My Love 2 Create used eight 12” shelf brackets to organize her lumber in her workshop.  She said there isn’t a lot of room in her workshop and this easy wood storage shelves project was the perfect way to fill in wasted space and give her easy access to the wood.  She loves how heavy-duty the brackets are, and would like to use them in her garage, too, and yet they’re so decorative that she’s looking forward to using them in her home for decorative shelving.    To see her project, check out

These shelf brackets work well in bathrooms, too.  Tracy Saylor of House Made Lovely made these pretty bathroom shelves.  She has been working on a bathroom remodel, along with her husband, and she did the shelves by herself.  She used six brackets from Crates and Pallet and is very pleased with her finished project.  To see more, please visit her on Instagram at
